Marc Taner

Biography:

Marc Taner is an experienced drummer from Braunschweig with over 39 years of playing experience. His musical journey began at the age of ten, inspired by drummers such as Gerry Brown, Pete York, and Dave Weckl. He received classical drum training from Georg “Puba” Hromadka and attended masterclasses with renowned teachers like Udo Dahmen.

Educational Activities:

In addition to his work as a musician, Marc Taner Özcan is also a drum teacher and lecturer in the music business. He offers customized lessons covering classical topics such as rudiments and transcriptions, as well as practical aspects like tuning, recording, and playing with playalongs. His goal is not only to teach technical skills but also to nurture a passion and feeling for drumming in his students.
